Sundays on the Hill Concert Series (SOTH) was organized in 1997 as First Sundays.  It was a joint venture of the Weston Playhouse Theatre Company (spearheaded by Steve Stettler) and the Weston Community Church (spearheaded by Helen Burdick.)   In 2001, First Sundays name was changed to Sundays on the Hill and became independent from the organizing partners.  Since 2001, SOTH Inc. (a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization) has been run by an all-volunteer board and the dedicated volunteer assistants making it possible to sponsor more than 145 talented concerts over the past 26 years.  We have historically charged only $5 (with children admitted free) admission fees and have been grateful for the support of patrons and generous donations.
 
            In 2024 the committee made the decision to move the concert series from the Church on the Hill (Community Church) to the Old Parish Church. This move provided us with a solid ramp, restroom facilities, air conditioning and a fine piano. All of which had not been available previously.
 
            As we enter the 27th year, we seek additional funding to continue making the series viable.  Our expenses for each of the past few years have exceeded $6000 and have been increasing every year. We must raise the admission to $10 and invite all our friends to become Patrons, make donations where possible, and consider sponsoring one of our 5 concerts planned for this summer. A patron’s support ($50 or more) includes admission to all of the concerts.
